Edinburgh is a small decorative dahlia with claret coloured petals tipped with white. It is a reliable performer at home in the border and in pots on the patio. It makes a striking vase of cut flowers. Short varieties can also be grown in containers on the patio or balcony. When danger of frost has passed, plant out the sprouted tubers. If used as a cut flower, cut flowers only when fully developed.
